2025 Women’s Prizes Shortlist Readings

June 11, 2025 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

£20.00 – £40.00

Join us to celebrate this year’s Women’s Prize shortlists in style in London’s beautiful Bedford Square Gardens or online with our livestream – new for 2025!

On the eve of the winners announcement, the 12 shortlisted authors of both prizes will be taking to the stage in conversation with their respective Chair of Judges, Kit de Waal and Kavita Puri.

With a rare opportunity to listen to live readings from the books that dazzled our judges, candid insights from the authors, and an audience Q&A, this is an unmissable event! The evening will be introduced by Founder Director of the Women’s Prize for Fiction and Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction, Kate Mosse.

For just £40, come along in-person and relax in the sunshine for the evening, enjoy the delights of the gardens, have your books signed and listen to the shortlisted authors of both prizes discuss their books.

For the first time the shortlist readings will now be livestreamed!
For just £20, join us online for our brand new livestream, to watch the readings and Q&A live. Plus be entertained during the 30 minute interval with some never-seen-before footage from the 2025 Prize cycle.

The Shortlist Readings are included in the day pass for the Women’s Prize LIVE festival. Why not extend your time with us in Bedford Square Gardens and come for the whole day? For £55 more, booklovers can purchase a day pass, granting access to a host of amazing events, including entry to the Shortlist Readings. See the phenomenal line-up so far here
