ESEA Lit Fest: Women’s Prize Discoveries Creative Writing Workshop

Saturday 21st September, 10 – 11am, Foyles Charing Cross Road

Join acclaimed authors Claire Kohda (Woman, Eating) and Stephanie Scott (What’s Left of Me is Yours) for a creative writing workshop.

Hear from them about their process and their guidance on all stages of creative writing; from coming up with ideas to drafting those first few pages, to structuring your novel and then getting published. Together, Claire and Stephanie will help demystify the process and give you their top tips.

You’ll also learn about Discoveries, the Women’s Prize Trust’s writer development programme and prize for unagented and unpublished women writers working on a novel for adults – run in partnership with Audible, Curtis Brown Literary Agency, and the Curtis Brown Creative writing school – and what opportunities it might hold for you.

Please bring a pen and paper or digital device to write with. You will have the opportunity to share your work, but will not be obligated to.
