Over its 30-year-history, the Women’s Prize has supported readers through free resources, live events, and promotional material for libraries and bookshops. This includes subsidising readers most in need, whether that’s a group of socially isolated new parents, midwives looking to connect with colleagues outside of work, or students. With a donation of £5,000 and over, you can help us enable access to great writing by women for everyone and build diverse audiences for live and virtual literature events.

Your gift is a donation, which for UK tax-payers Gift Aid can be claimed against, adding to its value. In recognition of your support, we will be delighted to acknowledge you as a Women’s Prize Circle Patron on our website and in our programmes. We’d also like to invite you to join us through unique invitations and opportunities to explore our work. These include:

  • Invitations to Patron events, including the sought-after Women’s Prize Trust Summer Party and the sell-out readings for the Women’s Prize for Fiction and Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction
  • A complimentary set of shortlisted books (either Fiction or Non-Fiction)
  • A regular Patron newsletter with ‘first-to-know’ news and insights
  • A thank you for your generous support on our website

If you have any questions or would like to find out more please contact Development Director Sophie Hussey for a joining form, including a Gift Aid Declaration, at sophie@womensprize.com

* Each level of support in the Patrons’ programme include a benefits portion which represents the cost of the scheme to the Trust and a suggested donation. The benefits we may offer Prize Circle Patrons have a value of £300, the voluntary donation of £4,700 is eligible for Gift Aid, and it is possible to purchase Prize Circle Patron level membership without making a donation.

The Women’s Prize has really changed my career in every conceivable way. It’s an amazing Prize; long may it continue.
