Living in a community of writers on a small island off the coast of Wales, commercial writer Nathan Staples feels that he has lost touch with his creativity, his source of inspiration, his joy of living, and with wife and daughter and contrives to have his daughter, who no longer even recognizes him, brought to the island on a writing fellowship.
