For the first time, we have 32 books on our combined longlists this year! The 16 books that make up the 2024 Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction and the 16 books that make up the 2024 Women’s Prize for Fiction have been revealed.
We are, once again on the look out for UK-based book clubs to work with this year, this time shadowing the shortlists of either the Fiction or Non-Fiction Prizes. That’s six book clubs each reading one shortlisted title for whichever prize they choose. Read on to find out more.
UK based book clubs over the age of 18 are invited to apply over on The Reading Agency website. We are particularly interested in reading groups with mixed or unusual membership, with an interesting origin story, and those whom we haven’t worked with before.
Each selected group will receive a set of copies of one shortlisted book – in the format of their choice: physical book, audio or e-book – which they will read, discuss and send back feedback and reviews by 5 June 2024. Then, the reading groups come together with the prize judges to chat about the shortlisted titles and the judging process, before the winner is announced on 13 June 2024.
Applications close on the 22nd March, so don’t miss out. Apply today.
