Have you dreamed of a writing career but don’t have the confidence to give it a go? Or feel that there are too many barriers to the publishing world to getting your work published? Join bestselling novelist and Discoveries chair of judges, Kate Mosse for an inspiring talk about her journey and the Women’s Prize Discoveries writing programme and prize.

Run in partnership with Audible, Curtis Brown Literary Agency and Curtis Brown Creative Writing School, Discoveries is the Women’s Prize writer development programme and prize that addresses challenges that women face as writers and finds new talent. Entry is free, open to all women over 18 in the UK or Ireland and writers are not required to have finished their novel. Unpublished and un-agented women writers can submit the opening of a novel in English – up to 10,000 words – for the chance to take part in a bespoke creative writing course, secure personalised mentorship packages, an offer of literary agent representation and a prize of £5000.
