Kitty Aldridge trained as an actor at Drama Centre, London, and went on to work in theatre, film and television for fifteen years as an actor and writer. In her thirties she began to write fiction. Her previous three novels have been shortlisted and longlisted for various fiction awards, and her short story, Arrivederci Les, won the Bridport Short Story Prize in 2011. She is currently working on a fifth book which forms part of MSt postgraduate studies at the University of Cambridge.
