Dr Amy is a bestselling non-fiction author, medievalist, art historian and artist, whose books have sold over 135,000 copies in the UK. She has a PhD in Art History from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. Amy has researched medieval pilgrim souvenirs at the British Museum, and worked among the British Library’s Medieval manuscripts. She is a Senior Research Associate at Girton College at the University of Cambridge, and a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries. Amy has spoken at venues including Westminster Abbey, Butser Ancient Farm and Southwark Cathedral, and has guest curated the Cheltenham Literary Festival. She has been interviewed on national television and radio, including BBC1’s Countryfile, and regularly guests on history podcasts.
